Thomas Goldsmith, bowling in the Special Olympics organized practice at Atomic Bowl, shot a 299 game and a 756 series on October 15th.

Thomas started bowling when he was 6 years old and has been bowling for 20 years – minus the last 3 years – after he lost his job with a shuttle service.   Thomas used a “Speed Zone” ball that he got in 1996 when the Professional Bowlers Tour was at Celebrity Lanes.  He was given the ball by PBA star Steve Jaros.

Thomas has had 2 perfect games; on June 6th 2006 and October 9th, 2007.  His high 3 game series is 767.

Thomas is practicing for the Special Olympics tournament at Atomic Bowl on November 6th.  Bowling starts at 8:30 am and goes till 5 pm.  Thomas is only bowling the doubles with partner Kevin Grey.
